Chocolate Pie
Yield: 1 pie
Ingredients:
- 1 (4 oz.) bar semi-sweet baking chocolate or chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 regular pie crust
- whipped cream or ice cream
Directions:
- Melt butter and chocolate in microwave, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and immediately add sugar; stir until well combined. Cool for 3 minutes in refrigerator.
- Mix eggs with a fork.
- Add chocolate mixture and whisk until well combined.
- Bake at 350° on bottom oven rack for 30 minutes.
- Bake 10 minutes on top oven rack.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
